The Coffee Really Wasn't Ever Strong Enough

Starbucks to close 500 more shops. Where will I get a decent cup of coffee on my visits Stateside, now? Oh, that's right - pretty much anywhere else. Actually, that isn't quite true but my coffee needs are covered by the indie coffee shops of New York, Boston and San Francisco, at least. Still, the U.S. economy must be suffering if they are closing down purveyors of "luxury" caffeinated beverages - maybe sharing out the tips with the lowly coffee monkeys finally caught up with them - and I guess The Economist will have to revert to its Big Mac index if these tragic closures have an effect on the already extortionate prices in Mudbucks.
